While Spirane was a welcome home I had found that exploring the rest of Moladion to be an advantage if I were to know the land. I had not decided to commit myself to the mountains as of yet – for what pack member would I be to go gallivanting off all the time – but I intended on officially joining among her ranks soon enough. My blood was in the very layers of the stone kingdom, after all.
I had visited many wolves within the crags of the central area though the group of which I had been speaking to did not seem to spark any fancy. On this hot, summer’s eve I am heading deeper south so that I may find anything that could keep my interest. When I stumble across a thin stream I immediately begin following it, knowing that it will have a larger parent river that it is feeding from at some point. My assumption was dead on and within a short time I find a large river cutting through the land. To my right are the splendor of the mountains and to my left is a vastly flat land full of odd trees of which I had never seen before.
Choosing the better of the two locations, I decide to stay right in the middle and descend upon the banks of the large, slow moving water. Despite my lighter colors I still retain a slightly thicker coat due to my northern lineage and the chill of the river is an easy choice on such a hot day.
It is to my surprise that I stumble upon a female laying beneath a tree of which was in my path to the water. I pause for a moment as her image comes to view, the pale color and red flecks upon her back sparking a recent memory.
”I saw you at the gathering upon the crags.” I announce to her as I take a few steps around so that she may see me. Yes, I am certain that she was there, it was nearly impossible to miss her.
