The Lady & I fished Pony Island Weds and started good. When we left Blackhawk our old Merc 500 shifted funny and could not full power, but went anyway. (1st dumb move) We movedm to then rear of the cove and it was slow and time to move, The shift linkage abd throttle were busted.
@ gentlemen in a bass boat came to our dilema. I offered monet to tow us to the ramp. He suggested Chippewa as he docked there and would drive me to out rig. insteas thet took us all the way to our ramp, helped us load and secure the boat. My Lady and & I are handicapped. I can not say enough about these 2 dellow fishermen. God ssent them to us as our Saviour.
They said they were from Dayton, We didn't exchange names, but in our Prayers that night I'm sure the Lord knew them.
