Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She waits as patiently as she can, her guilt killing her as she longs to explain her absence. Wanderlust was no excuse, but she was here now amd ready to take on apprentices. When Eden does make his appearance, Apollymi is startled at how tired he seemed. She dipped her ash-capped head and licked at the air between them. His stated question confuses her, his easy demeanor a rather pleasant thing compared to what her worry had filled her head with.

Her icy gaze flits to the albatross, wondering if he knows the bird and their habits. Motioning at it, she moves away a little, then comes back, moves further away and comes back. This display seemed to point toward migration, saying the bird migrated and often came back after a certain season had passed. Though he could only get the basic, they left and came back, Apollymi was sure he would understand her meaning.

After this bit, she gives him a moment to piece her clues together. The albatross was dead, she would not be away any longer. Apollymi searched his face, looking for doubt or questions, hoping he still welcomed her. She moved closer to him, then backed away, unsure of herself suddenly. The want to be welcomed back was evident, as was the enthusiasm to grow close to her pack. She would take on children to train to fight, she would do anything he required of her. Even help the female and pups that are twined into his scent, no matter how jealous they made her.
