Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Return to Lunar Children

guardian of the seas
IP: 173.89.136.235

The boy's coat is sleek, rippling like water over pebbles as his dampened frame travels around the several waterfalls that create ever-winding paths around the beloved sources of water. The waterfalls please his senses and they tease and coax and whisper to him as he appraises them, his sea green eyes bright. Droplets of the water still clinging to his snowy white coat from where he had earlier been exploring the watery depths, coating his white-cloaked frame in an even stronger scent of water. His large paws kept him moving along the water-side, and every so often his white toes are touched by the lap and lull of the waves, and there is no path or destination in the boy's mind. The boy wanted nothing more than to carve himself out a den near these wonderful falls. He would become the guardian of these falls, as back home he had been guardian of the seas, and yet in this new landscape he was probably of no persuasion. The boy's ears slide backwards as he thinks of the work that he has to do, in order to make a liveable den, and in order to properly cultivate the lands near the waterfalls. He stops underneath an area that sprays a fine mist over him, waves lapping against his blackened belly, as he indulges in the fine spray and nature's fierce roar, until he could feel his worries no longer. His ocean blue eyes are swimming with delight, his very air seeming to exude a calm serenity.

The boy knows how treacherous water can be. Yet the boy has been in far riskier waters than this, the seas of his homeland being one of them. The boy had protected the seas while serving his pack-mates as well, and he had even taken to collecting sea-shells that the waves would wash up, and given them out to the younger wolves than he as presents and rewards. He can feel comfortable in his own skin and coat, and he is comfortable around other wolves as well, and he is sure in his strength around other creatures. Water is good for the boy, as it is something that always moves and always flows, and it reminds him to put his worries behind him. He is always drawn to the water, for reasons unknown to him. He just relished in the pull that occured over him, the draw of the waves, that he was an honorable young guardian, one day would he be the regal elder guardian. The boy pulls himself from the fine spray at long last, happening to gaze down at his reflection in the water beside him, for a few moments struggling to focus beyond the ripples on the surface, but eventually he could see himself. For a moment he sees his sister's faces next to his own, eyes of crimson and eyes of aurora next to his sea blue ones, as they watched him in silent companionship. For a few moments he is shaken, almost as if they were ghosts and not merely imaginings of two living beings that really weren't at his side. As soon as his sea blue eyes blink they are gone, and so is the whisperings of their presences, and he knows what he must do. He prefers the water over even his own siblings, something that perhaps marked him as a flawed being. He knows now what he is meant to do, and his gaze turns towards a nearby cavern, his sea blue eyes calm and thoughtful, wondering if it could serve as their den, to house the three of them. It could be the den of the sea guardian. The den of the frozen heart and northern wind as well.

He is finally moving away from the water, and into the cave closest to the falls. His claws click against the stone earthing as he steps within it's confines, no scents in the air save for natural musk and earthen scents, as well as some moss growing on the walls in damper places, and his handsome face brightens into a smile. The boy likes the way the cave scent mingles with his watered fur scent, the way it just seems to click with perfection in his mind. He filters the wonderful scent as his sea blue eyes survey the remainder, walking further within as he notices little crevices perfect to nest within. He lowers his head as he nudges at a one of them, feeling almost at home.
