Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Bellatrix
"it is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both"

A pleased simper creeps upon my façade as Tristan voices his in-depth knowledge of a time I had only dreamed of living within. ”Yes. I’m glad someone else has been passed down such information – we can never forget where it is we come from...” My eyes shift to Eden then, a cutting glance if any, before I looked back to Tristan. ”We should share stories someday, Tristan,” an odd request coming from one as solitary as myself and yet I am willing to evolve to fit new molds if I must. If it is a pack wolf that I aim to be then so too does the socializing come with it. At least I can tolerate him more so than say… that Galileo boy who had once pushed all the wrong buttons.

I look back to Eden now as he addresses me once more, a look of indignation laying beneath the surface, as he talks of my history. ”Bones are not exactly what I am here for, but to recount those days of old and do better tenfold. My mother may have been a poor pack wolf but I will not succumb to her inability to change.” I speak in passing as he allows me entrance past the borderline.

With a final glance and a glimmering smile I move to walk past the two of them, my gait picking up a rather poised saunter akin to my grandmother’s movement. ”The river will be interest enough for now – see you around.” I speak my dismissal as my pace picks up into a fluid lope and my golden touched figure is lost within the trees.
