Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

THE TANKLIKE SON OF IFRIT & EVERLYSE

He feels the wolf before he sees him. His mind is open to the sights and sounds around him and though Dieloch was none too obvious about his approach, it seems as though the miracle of wolf senses have betrayed him nonetheless.

The pose the wolf takes is a handsome one... the welcome, though, is far from the one that Panzer expects from someone of the same rank of his former Alpha. Long names and longer heritage don’t seem to be in this particular wolf’s wheelhouse - and there is whee he decides to draw the line. Not Alpha. Only playacting. "You have come looking for a home, yes?"

The question makes his ears flicker, his eyes then catching Dieloch’s as his head turns as he remains seated. The malice towards coloring does not translate across to Panzer, though, so he does not even adjust to pivot and face the wolf who seemed older than himself. "Aye, if Eden will have me." He says in reply to the question after a bit of evaluation.

He is smaller than some, but he is built precisely as his name would suggest and it gives him courage to sit and wait out what this other wolf might fancy to do.

"But thank you for the welcome. And..." his nostrils flare and one ear flicks to the rear as he looks the wolf over for more signs of what the scent might entail for it to be on his breath. It was, after all, easy to smell a meal, or even a taster of one, on one’s breath so soon after the last swallow was made. The same way that bleeding gums when they are brushed can still smell of copper after the mouth is rinsed.

But there was no judgment, after all his father had been one to make bloody breath a customary scent in their den. Sometimes even their mother’s own blood had been the coating. It was not in Panzer to judge a person by their breath, so long as it remained only blood and not such tasteless lifestyles as adopted by those wolves who he determined a blight on the breeding pool of participants available in Moladion.

They were inhibitors of logic amongst the masses and the bloodlust even his father and brother were a pitiful show of what the species of wolves inhabiting this land was coming to.

"Perhaps you would see if Eden might be willing to meet me and see if I suit his thoughts for a new recruit."
