Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

sing the song with the heart of the people

How much she loved her children, seeing the delight in their eyes when she mentions a family outing to the sea. Fenrir groans at her touch, causing her own eyes to close in enjoyment, before she bounces away. He is quick to race to them and nudge their butts and she grins wide and chuckles. Samia seems afraid she will be a floppy fish and Thor wants to know if she heard. Her ears fall back in mock thought before she bends low, preparing to begin her imitation of a floppy fish. "Well.... Lets see how I look as it first, Sammy," she says, but then she is interrupted. An adult wolf appears and she abruptly stands up, ready to defend her pups, but her eyes widen at the sight and the monotone sound of her son. Alistair! "My son," she says in happiness, joy glowing in her eyes as her white banner begins to wave back and forth, "I have missed you. You are welcome with me anytime," and she moves forward now to press her head into his neck, hugging him. How she had missed her children, each and every one of them, but it seems that fate had planned something.

For out comes Arthfael, Alexander, and Ankh, all of them. A gasp leaves her lips as she spies them, Samia and Thor now greeting Alistair as if they had known him all along. They were such sweet children, so eager for adventure. Natu can see the way Ankh looks at them, that hurt expression in her pale eyes, and she would address it later. For now she is happy to simply have them here, moving forward to nuzzle Arthfael and then Alexander while her first-born daughter visited their father. "My sons, you have both grown even more. When will you stop? How have you been?"

She waits for them to tell her before turning towards Ankh, stepping up to lick her daughter on the face and nuzzle her gently. "My daughter, I have missed our races." She glances at Fenrir, grinning broad, and then at the group. "We were just going to the beach to play. I expect you all will join!"
