Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I am pleased when he repeats my words, and it appears that this boy listens well to his elders- the most important of elders. Eden did well in learning from me, and continues to go forth in my image. This one, this young one, goes forth and has much potential. Eden has done well, and thus, I have done well to ensure my vision comes to fruition.

He does not hesitate as he comes closer to me as I demand. I do remember the day that I had shown him a piece of this life and world- to be careful and not to trust so immediately those who do no deserve it. Now is a test to see if he understand those of worth deem some level of trust. I, of course, demand the highest level of trust. I am above all, and I demand the best of my blood, but my blood is also myself in another form. He must learn the pain and the joys of this world. He has already learned of the pain. He comes to me, still small but growing larger and larger each day. One day he will be glorious- I know this more than anything. He is a male to appreciate. He thanks me and the only hint of a response is the flicker of my dark ear.

I let my nose lean in closer to him, to sniff the top of his head and inhale him. He is my youth now, as I age and one day return to my rightful place as god. His eyes remain upon me, intense with their own colors, a hint of my own copper flowing within them. I know that my energy and aura is strong, that someone so young may not be used to it so close and personal, but it is something I know he can handle and feed off him. Let him grow and develop into what he is destined to be. my dark visage pulls back as he speaks, the eagerness of his words for greatness like music to my ears. I have felt the weakness of birth within me, but this young one brings much fire back into my copper gaze. He even asks for me to show him how, and it is a thing that must be...explained.

"Iam magnitudine tua in te Eros. Vos ex me . Sanguis meus est , et ego mundo magnitudine ita penes te est magnitudo . Alii conantur multa, sed nunquam assequatur. Tu prae ceteris uides. Et eris semper supra , melius facit. Educ interioris partes affectionesque occupet et noli adorare ad meritum. Putasne intelligis ? Quae non sunt quod tu es super omnes vestrae sanguine cernam?"
(Your greatness is already within you, Eros. You are of me. Your blood is of me, and I am the greatness of this world, so within you, there is greatness. Others may try to be great, but they will never achieve it. You are better than the others, you see. You will always be better. Bring out your inner desires, and do not bow to any undeserving. Do you understand? That you are above all others that are not of your blood?)
I inquire with my dark yet compelling lyrics, my eyes hot upon him as I assess how he handles the words I give him. These are not words I give to just anyone, and they are not completely direct in answer in that I do not give him step by step instructions on how to be great. This is not a hunting lesson where things can be taught easily. Hunting does rely on instinct but much is learned. Instinct and drive within his blood will allow him to flourish, I will simply allow him to start blooming into what he is already meant to be.
