Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Silence is not always weakness, for the white female it meant finding herself. Her lineage was great to be sure, but what made Esdeath great? It was something she spent tossing and turning over each night, knowing what she was capable of. Flawed with black, jade peers out from the side of her mother, white body stark in the darkness, as a light to an unwitting moth. She watches the others leave, Abel and Keturah going with Eden and the female Ayal move away. It was this wolf the young creature was drawn to, maybe because the older female was so distant, or perhaps Esdeath had the dare to follow and sit silentky behind her half sibling. Either way, she watches with an attention that was never ending and a focus that was rivaled only by one. It was as though she wished for the retribution of Ayal. No death was not wanted, perhaps she only wished to test herself, to understand her limits. Esdeath is not the others, she does not lean so heavily toward her mother's fame. This girl is as her aunt - on Mother's side - and the very same wolf had birthed her father, the wolf who made her half-uncle Tobias. It was apparent in her ways, the eerily silent way she walked, the hollow whispered words of hatred for her brothers. She may never know of her origins, never know of Eris and Jaidah combining in one frame, but her genes knew for sure.

Padding up the dune on perfect predatory paws, she comes to sit beside a sister she barely knows. Nothing by way of greeting is made other than her presence, a slight twitch of the ear and those blackened jade eyes staring ahead at the horizon. The birds were restless, coming to shore and away from the darkening sky. Esdeath is no pest, her volatile nature concealed as the oceans conceal their own monsters, she is quiet in her early years, as though waiting some silent signal to come undone. Her youth is spent learning, absorbing, feeling out her place and watching, nothing more is needed.

More often than not she was only outwardly violent toward her brothers, lashing out in horrific ways to stop them from eating or even sleeping. Today was calm, and she chose to shadow Ayal.
