Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Luk
(Three) (No Imprint) (No Mate) (Glorall)

Seagulls screamed overhead and waves crashed down below. It was the familiar sounds of Glorall that comforted Luk and helped him out of his rut. The paw steps behind him were not so familiar and neither was the smell. His head lurched up suddenly to see another wolf of white and gold, oddly similar to his own color patterns, standing close behind him. Cursing himself mentally, the older boy stood up and eyed the pup suspiciously. He hated that he had let his guard down long enough to let someone sneak up on him. It was something he had to work on and he made a mental note. Dark ears twisted forwards as he listened to the pup, who was only a year younger than himself. His scent was fresh, not yet tainted by the salt that stuck to everything in Glorall.

”I’m Luk.” he said, ignoring Panzer’s first comments. Following his gaze, Luk looked out at the small island that held many secrets and shrugged. ”It’s a part of our territory, but I don’t know what’s out there. I have never been. Can’t say I’m much of a swimmer. Too heavy.” And heavy he was. Though he was only three, it was obvious the tri-colored pup was going to grow into a power house. Large muscles rested under a thick layer of fur and a massive body was held up by long legs and huge, golden paws.

Luk smiled and sat on his haunches, feeling no threat from the newcomer. ”What brings you to Glorall? Did you come with your folks?” he asked, genuinely curious. Most of the youngsters here were born here and had a strong bond with their siblings. Luk was alone, far away from his birth pack. He had no one.
