Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

However, the unspoken laws that had been engrained in her mind since childhood had prevented her from doing so. Only the alphas could bear children and with them, ensure that their genes carried on to one day inherit the pack. A lowly healer would never get the chance to be a mother.

Once within the trees, the bob-tailed wolfess allowed her paws to slow down to a calm walk rather than a brisk trot. Puffs of white steam burst from her lips as she whined quietly to herself. Hot tears streamed down her cheeks as her body continued to ache. It was something she suffered with alone as each winter came and left. It would be no different than the other years and with strength and self-control, she would pull through again. Finding a tall pine tree still covered with fresh needles, she moved to lay underneath the branches, which provided her with a shield against the snow that littered her pelt. With a deep, sad sigh, she waited for the moment of lust to pass. Unaware that someone close by was showing a great deal of interest in her…
