The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.
All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.
Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Halina had been surprised when Ygritte had yielded to her so quickly, but it had been enjoyable and amusing. Always Halina's love life had been... complicated to say the least. Her tastes were already unique considering she preferred femmes to brutes, and it was hard to find others who enjoyed the same palate as she... but even worse was the fact that Halina enjoyed the company of mainly strong femmes as opposed to dainty ones. That in and of itself was not a complicating factor, but adding in the fact that she preferred to be the dominant varg in the relationship did. Most strong femmes had this preference as well, so the pair often ended up butting heads and having difficulties in relaxing in each other's company. But Ygritte had allowed herself to be maneuvered into a quite vulnerable position which was quite obviously something she did not commonly allow to happen. When the opposing femme had pulled on Halina's own scruff, initially she had resisted, but eventually the ess had yielded her position, taking the place where Ygritte had just been laying. Ygritte was softer with Halina that she had been with her. The femme's rough tough petted her nape and throat, and though Halina was not used to being in such a position, she found that she did not hate it... and perhaps even enjoyed it a bit. But, soon after she had been flipped over, Halina reached up, her teeth pulling at Ygritte's audette, whispering inappropriate vocals that would shock most other vargs, speaking of public actions of sex and coddling. Ygritte did not hesitate or miss a beat, her own sultry vocals slipping out like a dirty secret. Well those that are shocked do not need to stay around for the show, unless you want to take this to more private quarters, I have no problems indulging in a meal right here. The heat within Halina rose, her loins on fire with desire. Ygritte kissed at her facade before beginning to nip at her nape, the mixture of pleasure and pain such a fine line that instead of being separate, they combined and built upon each other. So my dear, would you like to take the first taste? Halina's throat rumbled, a mix of a growl and a purr as she fought back the urge to ravage the femme's body here and now. She wanted to, not caring who saw them, but what held her back was that Halina had come upon pups here more than once. She did not wish to scar them with viewing such adult business, be it lesbian or heterosexual. Halina gave Ygritte's a final tug before rolling over and slipping out from being underneath her. "It would not do for pups to witness every dirty little thing that I am going to do to you, my love." The eboness rose and circled the ess, her tongue running down the angle of her mandible, to her nape, and then along her side. Occasionally her incisors nipped at the ess, pulling tenderly at the femme's flesh. As she circled around the hind end of Ygritte, she allowed her rough tongue to run to the base of her tail and then she paused, rubbing against her slowly before her tongue started on the opposing side of her tail, making its way back to her face. "Come with me if you wish to tremble and scream as you have never before have." Halina turned her nares toward Abendrot, her home, where the dark privacy of her den awaited. If Ygritte followed her, Halina would pause every once in a while to push the femme against a tree, a boulder, the ground... and run her tongue over her, licking her kissers, rubbing against her, biting her skin just until there was tension. Any reciprocation Ygritte did to her Halina willingly yielded to, softening under Ygritte's touch. When they finally came to Abendrot's borders, Halina grasped the femme's soft, loose nape under her mandible gently and pulled her over the boundary. "Welcome home." Her vocals were hardly more than a murmur and Halina could hardly hold herself back, as she yearned so dearly to take the fae. But instead she pushed Ygritte toward her den and stumbled inside, and only once she was inside did she release her hold on her desires, releasing them.
