Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

I am far from busy and the scent of another distracted me from the falls and their rainbows. It smells like clay and freeflowing wind, like youth and one who had only just ceased to suckle - or to suckle much at least. My eyes fall on a soft looking youth with and I am instantly concerned.

“It’s nothing, was just enjoying the falls.” I reassure her as best as I can think how. I am not sure what to say else, not when she was clearly making an effort to offer a kind face and a little bit of wag to her tail. “It is pretty, isn’t it?” I say when I realize that she is still looking unerringly at the falls.

I am not sure where her parents are, which makes me a little nervous, but then it occurs to me that I smell no one else, that I do not see anyone else even as we stand and admire the falls. “Are you lost? Do you need help finding your den?” I know it is a little prying, but Samhain and Natu have made me realize that I wish to be the sort of wolf that they had made me, less timid and a little more refreshing by ways of kindness. “I think I know an easy way down if you would like the help.”

She is small, I think, and perhaps this makes it harder, makes more sense as to why she is not keeping to herself and finding her own way down from this chilly place when she seemed to smell of much warmer climates. “I have to get down too, after all.” I offer nonchalantly.
