Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Morrigan noticed the female's tenseness before her original movement, and she figured that it was fairly justified given that they had only just met. It was healthy to be a little suspicious after all, and she hadn't exactly given a perfect picture of friendliness. But the russet wolf was happy to see that her new playmate relaxed as soon as her jaws closed around not fur and skin, but open air. A laugh escaped from her mouth as the chocolate-brown woman pounded against the water, sending waves flying up around her. Morrigan ducked away from the water droplets, but given that she was already soaked from her earlier swim, she didn't mind too much.

She raised an eyebrow as her newfound friend began to zip around in the shallows, and it didn't take long for Morrigan to give chase. Her paws pounded, creating waves to rival the other's, the water spraying around them, droplets glittering in the sun. It was refreshing, to be able to play again. Perhaps it had just taken her some time to realize that not everything needed to be serious all the time, and that this play could be considered training in a way as well. Running around after the woman certainly helped her agility, turning on a dime as her playmate did, racing through the shallow water.

Morrigan butted her gently with her head as the woman shoved her with her paws, then she leaped forward out of the water to give chase, sparkling droplets streaming off of her russet coat in rivulets. Mud was already caked on her white paws, and she realized that her bath had been for nothing, but she could always hop back in the stream after they were both worn out. Although it seemed like her new playmate had boundless energy.

The deep russet creature ran along the shoreline, catching up and running beside her playmate, giving a friendly, happy bark before dashing ahead, mud and water covering her coat.
