Gods may bleed among mortals... font>
One thing was certain. For the second time in a fight against Amir, Zeus could tell that he was much like his father. Such a detail was crucial to the god wolf and this fact alone made it harder for Amir.
Amir was pushed back by each impact, breaking his concentration completely. But Achilles words encouraged Amir to keep up. He quickly thought of a way to dodge and was ready to do it, but somehow Zeus already knew and didn't rush to collide with him this one time. Achilles was already on the run and his jaws reached the god's shoulder. Zeus' teeth gritted and he growled, feeling his skin punctured and ripped. Solara was next jumping at him quickly and angling for his hips.
But instead of attacking, Zeus stood straight taking their attacks. It was like biting a rock. He turned his head to the side, having his neck exposed. Seeing that, Amir bolted to attack, aiming for his neck. A smile appeared on Zeus' face. The god shifted in Achilles' jaws bolting forward and lowering his head to get Amir's right leg. His jaws snapped around it, grabbing it firmly and growling loudly. Solara hit him, pushing him to the side some. Amir grabbed his neck.
The three of them were holding Zeus in place. But the god knew he couldn't stay there for long. His growl turned into a laugh. Amir whined loudly in pain, Zeus' jaws tightened more. Amir's grip grew weak. His blue eyes looked into Achilles' silently telling him he wouldn't be able to hold. With a strong twist of his head, Zeus' forced Amir to fall down or have his paw broken right there just as he did to him moments ago. Zeus shifted some, closing his eyes and enduring the great pain on his shoulder. It turned to rage. Zeus kept holding Amir's leg and as he fell, the god used his left paw to pin Amir's neck down for a moment and with another swing and strong pull, Amir let out a cry of pain and finally, Zeus let go.
- One down. Thought you wouldn't be so coward to bring your pack, Fox! Now what would your family say!
Zeus laughed, simply stating. Amir's leg was broken. Not in two, but surely broken. He was in no condition to fight. Zeus would pull himself away from Solara and Achilles, deeper into the cave and waiting for their own move. Only Amir knew how much those words affected him. How deeply he wanted to know his origins. The more Zeus fought and hurt him, the more he felt it. Zeus was his only connection to his family and like with Voltaire, he was trying to kill him. He wanted it to end, he only wanted answers.
Zeus tried to ignore the movement in the entrance. Dieloch would have to handle her. Calliel. Zeus knew her. He remembered the day when they were back in Diveen with the Queen. Calliel didn't judge him straight away. She was the only one who didn't attack him with words. She asked him to go. Calliel.
The god prefered to ignore. If she came to fight, she would have a fight. But if she attacked Zeus. He would not be able to hurt her. He couldn't. Push her away, make her fall, but never draw blood.
Amir pulled himself back, trying to stand on three paws and even if he couldn't.. He was ready to fight again. The god smiled at him and it was clear. He would not hesitate to kill Amir and only Amir.
