This feeling was great. She had missed him dearly even if she seemed so passive the feeling inside of her was wonderful. It was no wonder her and her father were rarely seen apart. They were like glue, constantly next to one another or working with one another. Even on her mother’s hunts her father was her reliable partner in helping whenever needed. Embla though had tried to respect her parents and siblings wishes staying around for as long as she could before finally coming of two years of age. Once Constantine was gone Embla decided she could leave as well and she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself now. Sure she was still small by many standards and she was so light and leggy that anyone could knock her down, but what did it matter. They had to catch her and that was the issue for them. She couldn’t fight even if she wanted too, simply run and run faster. Now that she was here she felt safe even though Galileo was obvious not a fighter either just being around him gave her some odd since of safety even if it was misplaced in some regards. She didn’t fully understand these feelings, but they were right, they felt right, and that was all that mattered to her now.
Embla didn’t really know what to think of anyone else, boys or girls, they were other wolves, her family her family. Galileo was the only one who drew her and it was because of the bond that they shared. She knew that all to well, they were meant for each other, just like her parents were meant for each other that was what imprinting was all about to her knowledge. You should be with your imprint and she didn’t really know any different. She knew there were wolves who weren’t and while she didn’t think it was wrong she didn’t think it was right either. Imprinting was natural if you didn’t have an imprint and had a mate that was right too. It was confusing and she still had only the basic knowledge on things like love and difference between heart and soul. The only thing she knew now was her own soul was before her and she was happy with that.
Speaking of happy her soul seemed very pleased to see that she was here to join him. The light was over him, all around him and she was happy to be here with him at last. He asked about it then, the light, and I give a nod, ”It’s you, you are the light it’s all around you. I think it’s your soul calling out to mind all along. I wanted to be here sooner but I wasn’t allowed.” The conversation flowed seamlessly into him asking if she was coming to live her and if they minded her coming here too. She pondered this for a moment looking back the way she came towards the mountains and rolling her brindled shoulders.
”I told my parents many a time I was coming here. They minded up until my older brother left and moved to the forest, then they could no longer tell me no when they allowed him to leave. I think my father knows though that you are my Imprint and I wanted to be with you as nothing else ever called to me like this before and I have been insistent upon it for some time. They are my parents the love and worry over me no matter how big I get. I am sure yours do too.” She says turning her bright gaze back to his own gold. He moved then standing beside her to which she gave a grin and bounced slightly to his side as he began walking her into the lands. Embla knew she would like it here. The flat lands were nice, but Galileo simply the best part. If he left she would leave too no matter her attachment to the land that she may gain later.
Her tail waves as he says he’s getting a promotion soon. That he soon was hoping to have an alliance with the very home they had both come from. ”I am sure you can do it.” She encouraged, tail waving still more behind her as her leggy silver and russet form moved effortlessly beside his own. At the word of changes coming Embla looked to the sky. Everything looked the same currently she thought it would be okay. ”Jaidah seems to be overly insistent. It’s starting to feel desperate. Losing Asteraia, attacking Taviora, then coming back here several times now. That desperateness will be her downfall.” She says rolling her shoulders lightly. She didn’t care who ruled it seemed Galileo didn’t mind her rule but was happier with Impa now. Therefore Embla liked her too. ”It won’t stop. I am sure Queen Impa will feel everyone backing her and fight her hardest. I think wolves that have a lot of support tend to do better in battle than ones who don’t. I have only seen this exception once in my lifetime and that was Kane… and obviously the one who took over hardly did well in lead seeing the angels took back over a short couple seasons later. Did.. Jaidah have many followers?”
