Samus shivered and whined slightly in pain as her father cleaned her wounds, but she tried not to let it show. Having all the blood and dirt cleaned from her pelt made the ache slightly less and it made her stand a little taller at the very least. It was nice being looked over and paid attention to, and she could tell that Hollowpoint was deeply troubled by what had happened. It was only right though that he have that fatherly instinct to protect his children- even if he did not often keep them close at hand. The girl liked romping around the mountain though, and the attack wouldn't deter her from continuing to do so.

The girl licked the bottom of his jaw as he kissed her forehead. She was happy that her father was giving her attention, it made her feel proud of doing the little that she could during the attack. She perked up when her father said that it would be a cool story to tell. It made her feel a little better about the whole thing. "A cool story? Ya think so?" Samus said with a lopsided grin, her tail giving a few fierce wags.

Samus nodded as Hollowpoint mentioned thanking Daenerys. "Yeh, ya should, 'cus she was really awesome!" She puffed out her chest as she said this, remembering how the Queen had made such quick work of that black adolescent that had attacked them. She perked up even further when her father mentioned seeing the fireflies.

She spun away from her father and pranced towards the woods surrounding them. "Yeah! I'll lead the way!" Samus giggled and began to trot through the forest, hoping that her father was close behind. Even though she still desired her independence, something about the proximity of her father made the wild girl feel a lot better.
