Laca court one step closer to reality

The Laca court is now one more step closer to reality.

His attorney, ex St. Pete mayor Bill Foster has completed the deeds required for a property switch with the new neighbor. This gives the NJAA the extra feet needed to build the court without major driveway work that would have been required to build the court. This would have been soundly rejected by the Board of Directors regardless.

Now the new neighbor needs to sign off on the new deed and then it needs to filed with the county. Once that is done, Point West Engineering (whom Anthony is employed by) will present the revised plans to Pinellas County. Nearly a year ago, similar plans had been approved.

Once the county approves it, construction will start. The court is expected to go up fast - 6 weeks. It will be almost the same size of Matt's court in Connecticut, just not need a wide of a court. The open air court will be covered, and include a state-of-the-art video and sound system with Magic Mike's talking scoreboard on a large TV screen.
