Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

The brute had begun conversation with Eponine, the lovely lass that he had not seen in who knows how long. Thanks to the revolution, they were separated, and he was expected to fight. Due to another love interest, he kind of pushed Eponine away, but not on purpose. She was still his friend. Marius had pondered aloud how Eponine had escaped, since he had stated his own, horrible one. Running away from other wolves hunting him down.

She answered with "A tab bit subtler than your own, I managed to escape through a few back alleys and per the usual flirting with guards, and a few back stabs here and there." A sense of worry flowed through him. Back stabs? Literally? Marius did not really take in the rest of the phrase, as the back stabs stood out the most. He spoke, worry tinging his tenor voice. "My dear Eponine, do you mean the back stabs literally? If so, are you alright?" Worry could also be found in Marius's seers if you looked into the sea-green pools of color. But yet, Marius did not do anything. What if the scars still hurt? What if Eponine would be offended if he just went out and touched them, if there were any?

Eventually, Eponine continued, asking a question of her own. "And what of Cosette, Marius? Did she not follow suit..? If memory doesn’t fail me, you were together when we all began to flee… were you not?" Thinking about it, they were together at first. "We were together at first. Then there was an bombardment, and there was a lot of dust in the air. I tried calling out her name, but it led to the other wolves chasing me. I tried to fend them off, but there were way too many." He frowned, looking in the distance. The brute let out a sigh, and watched the winter air take the oxygen on it's own trail of swirls. "I know there's a small chance of her survival, but hopefully she made it out of there and safe."

This was the present, and Marius had to think about it. He couldn't think about the past or he would one, become too overwhelmed, and two, become depressed if Cosette never returns. He hated to come to that solution, but if she did come back he would be happy as ever. If not, at least he had a good friend here to accompany his side.
