Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

victor
one - glorall - no soul - no heart
Young though he was, Victor prided himself on not flinching towards anything. He was strong in constitution and strong in desire, there was passion in his fiery eyes that rivaled that of those much older than him. He hoped that Eden did not look at his age as a barrier, but rather as a potential to create something great. And magnificence was what the boy wanted to achieve. If he could not find it here, he would go elsewhere, but there was something about the alpha that was intriguing. His way of speech and the things hidden behind his eyes were tantalizing to the adolescent. It was different than the muted passion of his father of whom he had been a prodigy. No, it was something more... dangerous and exciting.

Victor stood as the words filled the air, hanging like a cloud between them. For a moment he was uncertain, as if the words were a signal that he should take his leave, but then Eden spoke again and the air grew light once more. He straightened, making himself as tall as a yearling possibly could be. "I will do whatever it takes, then, to make myself a purpose." He wasn't timid in his speech, instead speaking with a tone that was determined and poignant far beyond his years.

The expectant question made him shift slightly. He didn't wish to talk about who he was, simply who he would be. There was nothing in his past denoting the greatness that he had destined himself for. But Eden had asked, and Victor felt compelled to tell him, at the very least, who his parents were and where they had come from. "My name is Victor." Starting with an introduction seemed to be the correct way to go- he was new to the world, still, and there were customs that he was unfamiliar with. He was sharp, though, and he learned quickly.

"My parents gave me little but my name," Victor shrugged. "I left Spirane, where I was born, to find my own way. I'm not much, yet, but I will be." He looked at Eden with the same quiet expectancy that the alpha was offering him, though his face was even. The boy wasn't one much for shows of emotion.
