Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

- It's Just The Way That We're Diseased!

The sudden onslaught of water from the body that landed in the large pond irritated the brindled male to hell and back. Hackles raise as a larger splash is made, this one catching more attention as curiosity sets in. What would a bear fall down a waterfall in winter for? Why was it awake? Rogue, more like, stalking after wolf kills after being disturbed during winter's sleep. The tiny female that stood before the raging monstrosity was soaked and would surely catch death standing out there like that. As the bear made a limping charge at the small she-wolf, Lucifer is forced by his very nature to interfere.

Moving at a breakneck charge, Lucifer barrels ahead, muscles rippling in his glory as he moves toward the bear. Ginger, mahogany, chocolate, cream and black marble together as he collides with the beast, jaws clamping down on its bulging cheek. Meeting the bear head on, Lucifer tugged at the skin of the animal, his height not allowing for a try at the throat but if it rears, he would have it. Burly, well-built, and solid, Lucifer whips his muscled neck back and forth to rend the face of the bear. Massive paws armed with four inch long claws leave the ground, the branch sized arm swinging out to free itself of the pain that is Lucifer. With a growl, he releases the bear, as soon as his paws hit the ground, his black toed feet bounced right back up. With one well landed blow, the mountain of a male seizes the throat of the bear and clamps his fangs down. Muscles bunch and flex as he viciously rends his head back and forth to tear the throat out of the bear, though he neglects to see the paw until it was almost too late.

With the throat of the beast mangled and pouring blood, Lucifer moves away in a heartbeat, receiving only shallow scratches on his side from the claws of his latest victim. The bear lowered itself, with Lucifer between it and the female, blood loss making it tire before it slumped to the ground. Once he was sure it was dead, he turns his red gaze toward the woman, gold and silver streaks catching the wintry sunlight and glowing warmly with its rays. Lucifer studied her for a moment, his deep voice only edging through once he was assured she had indeed survived her fall. "Are you alright? Anything broken?" His tones were smooth as river rocks, but hard as well. His form towered over her, but he could see the strength in her eyes. "You're either brave or stupid to take on a bear and jump off a waterfall." It was a light jest, nothing more, but he still found himself curious about the little wolf before him.
