Description
For the most part the terrain is made up of rocky hills and patches of trees here and there that can provide shelter in higher winds and snow. Hot springs that begin in the Bay and in the mountains flow into the tundra of Inlet and provide warm, but undrinkable sulfuric water. Fresh water can be found in a stream that flows (even in winter) down from the mountains that make up the border between the Bay and the Inlet. The stream connect to the Inlet, which creates a lake inland before turning salty and going into the sea. Geysers are fairly common, and with them comes thin earth crusts, so watch your step. There are a few packs of wolves as well as the occasional bear. Herds of elk are common and moose can be seen in the patches of trees and will not hesitate to try to fight off a horse that gets too close.
