Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

DISTILL THE LIFE THAT'S INSIDE OF ME

Morrigan was intrigued by this man, and certainly desired to spend more time with him than just this fleeting conversation. She felt as though they had more to offer each other than just words spoken in passing. The assassin took another bite of the leg before looking up at him as he began to speak of the gypsies. "It's less of a following, I think, and more of a loose-knit family group." She said, swallowing. "Though, obviously, I can't be sure until we meet them." She had been a follower all her life, more or less- between literally following her adopted father and figuratively following just his memory. It was only now that she sought to forge a purpose for herself, without being underneath the paw of another.

It was an interesting thought, Morrigan figured, to be in control of her own destiny. For so long it had been out of her reach, and it had made her uncomfortable, but there had been no other way. There was nothing that she could have done to take her fate into her own paws while she was underneath the care and tutelage of another. Perhaps his death had been a blessing, in a roundabout way.

The last comment made her smile, her inky eyes twinkling. Another interesting feeling, to be appreciated by another in a manner that wasn't based on her skills as a fighter or her swift tongue. Morrigan could tell that Roman was willing to follow her because he liked her and she liked him, and they got along well. What a curiosity to feel a bond with another so soon after meeting. Maybe it was because they both had similar minds- she figured, one day, that they would each know each other's pasts, however hard they might be to share.

"I do fancy, at least for a little while." Morrigan said, that soft, flattered smile still upon her maw. "I try to see myself as one of the least boring ones around." She winked, then, stretching her limbs and walking past him towards the fields. "Let's go. Unless you wanted another bite." She said with a chuckle, jerking her head towards the deer leg laying by the lakeside.
