Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I find myself running through the waves today, playing in the shallow water and enjoying the cooler weather. Sure, the water is freezing but that hardly matters. That's what a thick coat is for! I splash the beach a few times, getting a few growls from disgruntled wolves as I bolt past with my tail thrust up in the air. I'm having the time of my life and no one's going to slow me down. Samia is off doing her own thing today so I thought I'd go find some company of my own. I wonder if Abel is off chasing rabbits or something. I really need to get with him and make plans to go on a hunt or something. I bet I can show him a thing or two.

When I see a darker wolf up ahead, I can't help but crouch down low and stalk up on him. Or at least I think I'm stalking pretty good. I watch his tail in the sand, waiting for it to make one wrong move before I pounce on it. I aim to thrust my paws on his tail, pinning it to the ground before I dart off to the right and do a wide circle around him in cause he retaliates. My tail is wagging the whole time and my eyes are bright. "Hey, I'm Thor. Who are you? Whatcha doing? Want to play?"
