Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I know that I might not be the only wolf going for the position of Arbitrator but the thought doesn't bother me. The thought of competition might have made me falter in the past but I've been growing more confident in recent months and maybe I'm finally starting to mature into the adult I've always wanted to be. Maybe I'll always feel guilty about that wolf I killed when I was protecting my brother Solitaire but I've learned how to put it behind me and go on with my life anyway.

My parents are both dead now and my brother has disappeared, probably for the last time this time. My sister is off doing her own thing and I have a feeling she'll hold a grudge against me for many more years to come after what happened to mom. I used to let it eat me alive but I refuse to hold my life at a stand still anymore. I've been putting everything I've got into becoming Arbitrator and hopefully moving up further in time to come. I don't want to set my sights too high so for now it's just Arbitrator and we'll see what happens from there.

When I see the other wolf approaching, my tail automatically starts to wag. I've always been a friendly creature and I like making new friends. I've been trying to reach out to the pack as much as possible and this should be no different. He calls out to me and introduces himself as Panzer. I smile in return. "Hi, Panzer. I'm Tristan. I'd be honored. It's right this way." I set a pace for him to walk beside me so it's not like I'm leading him. "So how long have you been in Glorall?" I'd think not long if he's having trouble finding the center of the pack lands. I tilt my head in open curiosity. "Are you from Moladian? I'm sorry if you feel I'm prying. I have a curious nature and I tend to ask a lot of questions. Any time you feel overwhelmed, don't hesitate to stop me." I offer a smirk.
