Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

I cracked a grin at him as he dipped his paw in the water, and saw the briefest flash of discomfort in his eyes at the temperature. I loved him, truly I did, but it was so much fun to play jokes and poke fun at each other. "C'mon, can't take a little cold water?" I goaded at his slight hesitation, my tail giving a few wild wags before he moved towards me, picking me up like a pup! I knew I was smaller than him but I certainly didn't know he was that strong. I let out a yip of surprise, struggling lightly before he plunged us both into the cold water.

For a moment the cold enveloped me before I quickly scrambled to my feet. My fur was dripping with frigid water, and I looked back over at him with a glare, but his laughter had always been contagious and soon I was laughing too. I walked over to him and butted my head against his shoulder as I walked past him towards dry land, shaking my head with mock disappointment. "How dare you take advantage of a lady like that." I teased between giggles. "To think I trusted you!" I couldn't really keep up the act for long, though, because I knew if I did his face would fall eventually and I hated to see him upset in any way.

I shook out my coat, spraying water everywhere, likely onto Hollowpoint too which would make for some nice payback. He wasn't going to get away with this little trick, I swore it on my parents and my siblings AND my children, I would find a way to get him back. I flopped down in the soft grass, closing my dark eyes and letting the rays of sun warm my pelt. "Come here, you big jerk." I said with a laugh, jerking my head towards the spot next to me.
