Agreement reached with Tribe- Blackjack coming to Dania jai-alai and so is the D word Posted on December 8, 2015 at 03:13:23 PM by Jeff "Laca" Conway
A tentative agreement has been reached with the Florida Gov and the Seminole Tribe to allow expansion such a blackjack at the Dade/Broward racinos and will allow for decoupling. If approved by the House and Senate, an additional casino can open in Miami, another one in Palm Beach, the Indians can add roulette and craps (in addition to the electronic ones) for 3 billion dollars.
If approved, most dog tracks, Orlando, Ocala, Ft. Pierce and Miami jai-alai's will be shut down for good while maintaining what they have now plus being able to add blackjack down south, while the other tracks up north in the state can use a "designated player" in their poker games - something I have seen going on anyway.
