This is my Fate.
Haziel was neutral when it came to most of his family. After all it was so large he didn’t really get to bond with any of them. He knew he liked Shiloh but the rest of his siblings were an enigma to him… even his littermates soon as they could walk it felt left him to his own devices. Having such a large family was a blessing and a curse he supposed. He could just as easily find an ally anywhere in a family member but at the same time they didn’t have that close knit bonding affection that he had seen in his stay in Asteraia. He still preferred that land over all others to live on, but the current alphas, he didn’t think, would take kindly to the fact he was a blind wolf with not so blind ambitions. Ambitions he hoped under Eden he could achieve in time, but depending on where the pack went in furture, challenges, or leaders or this land as well, he would maybe go back.
However he was rooted here for now, and currently his eldest brother was here to talk and all of that was just fine by him. Haziel dipped his head ever so slightly to him. He wasn’t exactly trained, or taught to have a lot of emotion in his facial features, sort of hard to be expressive when you didn’t see the faces of others, but in all he was glad his brother was not so haughty as to expect him to call him King. Though Haziel thought he could hear some of the teasing behind his voice if it rolled off his tongue. ”I will stick with Achilles, then Elder brother. I am afraid having both is far too many syllables for my liking.” He says with a little huff for a laugh. ”I am sure you are, you lived there forever after all, sure many of the wolves are happy to be back.” He says rolling his crimson shoulders before the conversation shifted back to him.
”I still prefer the quiet fields of Asteraia, but Glorall is still a very good second and Eden is a good leader thus far, which anyone can appreciate. Coming back here I suppose was the obvious choice once that Jaidah woman decided to disturb my peace.” He really was still quite displeased with that, but there was nothing he could do about it. Blind as he was and only with a some assassin training under his belt from Malina it wasn’t like he would be challenging for any packs. She seemed to leave Glorall as well once Eden took over. A shame really, for he would have liked to continue his training but that was life, and he was managing to do alright in the mean time. ”I think I will go visit though. It’s been a few years since I set paw on Diveen soil, could use reminder of what the land felt like too.” He stopped then when he heard the steps and smelled Eden’s scent. It seemed he was waiting for a moment but really Haziel didn’t’ have anything to really say. He listened as Eden approached dipping his head down once more before letting the two alphas speak.
Eden and him came to an understanding recently. One he hoped would help him achieve his own ambitions. Time would tell though and they were still in the starting phases. But given what he wanted staying here and listening to their political talks surely wouldn’t bring them any harm. It was good for a wolf with Haziel’s desires to know what his Alpha wanted and the goings on in other lands as well. So for the time being until dismissed he would respectfully listen.
