Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Loyalty means nothing unless it has at its heart the absolute principle of self-sacrifice

Gone was the happy fae who only moments before had been caressing hi jawline and nibbling at his aud, and instead in her place was one who was distraught and inconsolable. Sebring buried her face in Kalgalath’s pelt and he tried to soothe her with words and promises but she remained silent and still, save for her distressed chest heaving with each breath. When the brute finally silenced, he felt her lids move, and then ever so slowly her cranium lifted, removing itself from the camoflauge of his pelt, and her orbs focused upon him. Sebring’s kissers parted as if she was about to speak, but no words escaped. No whimpers, whines, or purrs rumbled in her chest. The ess was completely mute. But words were not necessary.

Kalgalath had been graced with something that he had quickly discovered that few other vargs in Blossom Forest were – a good puphood. His parents had been loving and supportive, teaching him all they knew. There had been no rivalry within the pack, and though there were occasional hard times, his life had been mostly good. He knew that the good would always outweigh the bad… but for those who were used and abused as pups, as Sebring had been, it was hard to see the good. Anytime when she saw bad, she was even more affected by it. And so with Tarly, even though he had a happy ending for the most part, Sebring saw only the broken pup. Tarly would never remember the terror that his father was or the sad sad event that had taken his blood mother’s life… and his foster mother, Shae, had taken good care of him and coddled him. Now it was up to Magic to teach him to be braver, stronger. If anyone could teach Tarly these this, it was Magic – Kalgalath’s right handed warrioress.

Kalgalath rose from his paws, and peered over the edge of the cliff again, but was shocked to see that there was no longer a sight to see. As so often it happened, the mist once more was covering the peak of the mountain. His cranium swirled and he saw its tendrils creeping up the slope around them. If they did not leave soon, they would be stuck at the top for a long while until it cleared. The mist often turned to fog so thick that it was impossible to see through and the descent could not be easily made.

Come, my darling, let us return to Aurora Borealis, together. We must see to it that you meet everyone that you have not yet been able to.
