Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

The way they sit is the way they were meant to. Born in heaps of squiggly flesh and soft cries demanding warmth and companionship, it is only natural that they should end in a heap together on the forest floor, hearts beating to the tune of nature and powerful magic. It was an ancient ritual that awoke their bond, that drove their spirits to intertwine, and she was fine with this. Forevermore she would think on these two and pray to find them again one day, to share this comfort with them, and she smiles as Paisley speaks. Cryptic? No, it all made perfect sense to her, her wizened head dipping down in perfect understanding. Love and loss and pain and hope, it was the cycle of life. Paisley was so young and would experience them all once or twice in that life span. It was an inevitable happening, the plight of all mortal souls.

"Ah, the travel, it is one of the most satisfying things I have ever come across," she admits, remembering her days of wandering. If she had not been so inclined towards children perhaps she would have stolen off with Fenrir but mother hood was her passion and she felt no regret.

Samhain speaks of the past - the world is filled with spots where one could feel the pain and joy that had existed here. It built, layer upon layer, each century a leaf at a time, a bone upon bone. "The wild always remains." She says quietly, letting the male shift closer to her and breathing in the scents of the forest. "You need not spend the winter alone, either of you. There are many places here that I would call home. The towering forest of Taviora, the cold mountains of Spirane, and the bring shores of Glorall where I reside now. Diveen is known for its glorious plateau. Asteraia is a kingdom of fields but it is of a more wild stock than the rest," she says, wondering if this will draw the pair. "While I never will like it there, the moors of Iromar are said to be tough but strong, if that is your wish."
