Breeding

Where the magic happens...
Wanting your own adorable hoard of fluffy puppies? You’ve come to the right place!
In winter, parents post their stats (alongside any other relevant stats such as grandparents etc.) in the below format. Staff then roll dice to determine if you conceive. If you do (congratulations!), Staff will then roll some more dive and perform some magic in order to produce your puppy stats.
You can view how we do that magic right here!

Certain prizes, such as ‘Pick Your Own Litter Size’ and ‘Custom Stats’ must be used before Stats are posed, whereas ‘+1 Puppy’ can be used after. If in doubt, check with Staff!

Once Stats have been posted, players may post in response claiming and naming puppies. Once spring begins, the mother’s player must reply to the thread with a link to their ‘birthing post’ on the appropriate date unless an extension has been requested.

Parent Stats
* post for both father/mother
Age:
Height / Weight:
Eye Color:
Body / Fur Type: (be detailed! long, short, thick, whispy, scruffy fur; brawny, willowy, wide set ears, a tail that’s a little crooked – everything helps!)
Fur Colour: (be specific with markings, and include references if you want!)
Other Stats (Optional): (for example, parents and grandparents; siblings; anything ‘cultural’ such as special markings in their bloodline etc)

** We include the option of grandparent / sibling / etc stats in order to help produce unique puppies even if a pair are plainer coloured. For example, two pure white parents don’t leave much room for exploration but with additional family stats, we can bring in new traits!

STATS
IP: 124.149.34.162

Due Date: Jan 12th
Litter Size: 3

Puppy 1

Female

Eye Colour: Surprisingly, they are yellow and quite a vibrant shade of yellow at that, very bright and captivating

Coat Colour: Her base coat is black and a true black at that, lacking any real tone or variance save for in one very odd area. Strangely this girl possesses some very unique white markings that exist only along both sides of her neck. Starting behind her ears and ending where her neck joins to the rest of the body there are ‘dribbles’ of white, they are not straight lines but very much like someone has run white paint down her neck and allowed little rivulets of white to run though her fur down the sides of her neck, no line is the same, some are more prominent then others while some are nearly lost in the thick black fur here, weaving in and out. There is no dorsal stripe or any particularly large splash of white these marks seem to come from, they all simply seem to spring from the back of her neck and run down both sides of the neck before they abruptly stop leaving the rest of her entirely black. A little like this for an example of her neck but longer lines and a little dribblier looking: http://p1.pichost.me/i/30/1530551.jpg

Body Type: She is not a big girl, taking a lot more after her mother in this regard, though she is very well rounded with more muscle then her mother has and a little more height too. Overall she is well balanced with good speed and agility but enough strength behind her to make her presence felt if need be. A very nicely made and pretty young girl.

Fur Type: Average in all regards

Height/Weight: 30in 125lbs

Healthy

Puppy 2

Female

Eye Colour: They are a very soft pale blue with faint touches of white in them, like small flecks

Coat Colour: The base coat is white- but this is a truly colourful child who has decided she needs ALL THE COLOURS of her bloodline. She is a very unusual looking puppy. Beginning at the base of her skull, behind her ears and travelling across her entire top line to her tail her white coat is marked with smudges of black and quite a lot of them, they are about thumb-sized markings as if someone has put smudgy fingerprints all over her, some of these black marks have faded out to grey with a little silver thrown in as well to give her a tonal appearance. Her coat returns entirely to white however as it goes down leaving her limbs, underside and tail entirely white. Her muzzle is white, yet just before her eyes the colour darkens into various shades of grey, tan, russet and black, giving her a colourful face that spreads up and onto her eyes- which are entirely tan/russet- like a little hat. This is an excellent example though without that defined striped of colour down the muzzle and a whiter muzzle: https://photonatureblog.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/wolf.jpg

Body Type: She is much taller then her sister and much heavier too, favouring her Father’s lineage a little more than her sibling. She is tall for a female and well-muscled though of a similar build to her older sibling, she too, is quite the all-rounder though leading a little more to power over speed and is perhaps just a touch on the heavier side.

Fur Type: Average in all regards

Height/Weight: 35in 150lbs

Unhealthy- Infertile

Puppy 3 (Bab Custom)

Female
32in tall at the shoulder.
123lbs at full weight.

Eyes:
Unadulterated White.

Color:
She has a base color of black, but her back, hackles, a little of her shoulders, and breast is a black white and tan that is layered so that it almost appears to be brindled without true brindling. She has a white tip on the end of her hackles, tail, and a tiny bit on her eartips and toes. Her face is a mask of that tan lined with white and a white muzzle that comes up the sides of her nose bridge.

Build:
She is like her grandfather and uncle in that she has long legs and dense bones, but she is contained in a smaller package thanks to her mother. While not precisely as petite as her mother is, she still has a delicate appearance to her. Her strength is in her jaws and her hind legs. Otherwise, her talents circle between endurance (from her mother) and agility(from her father), remaining average in speed.

Mother Health: 4/10 There is some fairly significant weight loss following this birth, at your age, it would seem, this has taken a true toll on you and while you will recover you will be quite weak for some weeks following the birth and your children may potentially suffer from a lack of milk due to your own poor body condition. You will recover in time though, especially with pack or mate support.
