The young pup is a creature born from the True Demon and a Monster. That demented mind of hers was quite a terrifying thing to experience. No knew what went on within the mind of the shadow child, and no one would know just what she would become. For now though she was an adorable little girl that would one day become such a terrifying thing. Perhaps she’ll surpass her infamous Father or maybe she will leave her mark upon Moladion in an entirely different manner. Though really that wasn’t important right now. What was important to the child was why there was a visitor in the first place. She had never known of a visitor that did not stay. After all the wolves that had come to their borders decided to join. Nevermore knew very well that all wolves were considered dangerous, a threat to her wellbeing and her Brother’s, but she wasn’t quite sure what to think about this one. Clever emerald eyes looked from the wolf with the white ear and back to her favored friend. With a gentle nudge her cold wet nose pressed into his leg gently giving a quick nod with the assurance that this mentioning of the strangeness of Brother’s name would indeed be kept as a secret.
As the topic of conversation changed she not did not care about the two any longer. While the two spoke their voices were muffled as she simply stared straight ahead without blinking for a moment. There was movement within the tall grass behind the ebony she-wolf and she couldn’t help, but wonder just what it was. Taking a few tentative steps forward, she craned her head forward some, until her dark ear twitched and the familiar voices returned to normal, no longer muffled. The idea that there were children seemed quite pleasing to her. Yet when she mentioned that she could not go see these...puppies...she simply stared up quietly at the she-wolf. Her form went still the moment Malina questioned her on just what kind of monster would kill a child. Emerald eyes that were so like her Father’s, with the hint of her Mother’s sapphire, began to darken as the mood of the child suddenly changed. She knew what a Monster was, she understood from her Provider that they were Monsters...and they were not bad. They were...the ones that didn’t...understand. But before she could say anything, she felt Galileo’s muzzle touch her, her little form sliding upon the ground as he gently pulled her away from Malina. However, her dark foreboding eyes held such a dark mysterious glint in them, as she did not blink for a moment, and if Malina noticed at all – Nevermore was giving her an accusing look – answering Malina’s own question.
The attention from the Demon Child was given to Galileo now, a small smile given to the boy she treasured dearly. Blinking her eyes for a few moments she brushed her forehead against his leg once more, closing her eyes and leaning into him. There was no need to ever leave the fields. She was safe here, as the Provider promised her, and it was good that Galileo showed her that he would be one of the many wolves that would ensure the safety of the pack. This moment would be critical to Nevermore’s understanding of this cruel world and she would never forget it – he had done her a great kindness. Indeed any pack protects its children, and it would be a shame if anyone dared to mess with the children of the fields. Quietly she watched and listened to them speak, and she noticed that only one considered to be doing most of the talk. With a gentle nip she demanded her Favorite look to her and when he gave her the attention she deserved she raised her shadowy form up to get closer to his ear, whispering to him alone so that only he could hear.
“You talk too much...Favorite.”
