Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

If by life or death I can protect you,

All Ailith's life she had lived under the iron fist of a wolf far more dominant and scary than Mars could ever hope to be. The mother of the sisterhood of assassins, her mother, was known as the queen of the tundra. The assassins were their own group, holding allegiance to no pack, but all dared not mess with them. The alphas could not stand up to the mother, bowing before her might. She was an unstoppable force that got whatever she liked without question from anyone involved. It was why Ailith had lived so long as a mindless drone like her sisters. To question and disobey was a death sentence, so when Ailith was stand up and question her mother's motives and morals, the whole group had expected a public execution. Her only saving grace was that she had always been the favorite, the best out of all her sisters, the prodigy to take over when the mother passed away. As much as the white vixen resented her retaining so many of her mother's traits, it made her a dominant, powerful assassin who could stand up to anyone, including the monster before her now. She did not bow to those who did not deserve her loyalties, and the strawberry touched male was undeserving.

The snowy female knew better than to underestimate an opponent, but to have faith in her own abilities to succeed. Age has not touched her strength but even she knows that his size is an extreme disadvantage to her, her attempt to force him down before her not as successful as she had hoped. His added weight helped to keep him standing, a low laughter rumbling in his chest. His laughter is cut short, much to her delight, as she lunges for his face. Immediately he rears up, narrowly managing to save his handsome face from the wrath of her fang which instead finds purchase in his neck. She grinds her teeth, hoping to rip into the skin but the thickness of his fur prevents it as he pushes himself away, leaving her with a mouthful of fur to spit out at her feet. With her mouth clear she snarls, her ivory daggers on display, warning him to back down and leave before they found purchase in his family jewels and he would never be able to have puppies with any females ever.

Cold blue eyes watch as he lunges, the snarl that left his jaws something far more scary than the others but still not enough to have her shrinking back in fear. His intended target is her legs, she can see it for it is an obvious attack: to incapacitate the enemy made the final blow so much easier. Just as quickly she goes to jump back, out of the way of his snapping jaws. The damp fall ground is her enemy however, or maybe her older age really was starting to take a hold of her and make her clumsy, her pads slipping when she lands on them and causing her legs to slip out from beneath her. Her white form hits the ground with an 'umph', and before she can get herself on all fours she feels him latch on to her front leg. A panic sets into her and it is now that it fully sets in that she is in trouble.

A searing pain shoots up her leg, she can feel the pressure crushing the bone. The noise that escapes her mouth is somewhere between a howl, a yelp, and a snarl, all in agony. Instinct kicks in and she immediately lashes out, trying her hardest to ignore the pain and keep her mental resolve. He may have her leg but like a white flash of lightning, she is going for his throat. Her body is twisted rather awkwardly to try and get at it, but she wants him to pay, an anger taking hold of her, one she had inherited from her mother. She will not stop fighting him, not give up. He will have to break her down to absolutely nothing before he can take her from her freedom, her life. Even if he succeeds, he will not rest easily with her as his prize. The mountain wolves will come in droves for him, they will bring his lifeless back to rot at the base of the mountain as a warning to all who dare trifle with one of the strongest pack's members.

So go ahead Mars, break her and take her, the wolves of the mountain will be less kind than you when they find you.

I will...
