Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

There was a pang of sadness in the opposing pools of blue-grey. Those eyes… The mistress cried internally to herself. How those eyes had touched her heart, and his voice. Oh so soft, so smooth… But Eponine had to hold down the growl of annoyance in her chest, Marius never seemed to pick up on her more subtle meanings. My dear Eponine, do you mean the bad stabs literally? If so, are you alright? Eponine looked to the ground, her eyes dulling at the memories she conjured. He had no idea how much the Revolution had cost her. She almost would have rather died in that hell, than live out the pitiful existence she was doomed to. But she didn’t reply. Her bodice was her mechanism of expression, but she lifted her softened eyes to Marius as she sickeningly reminisced about Cosette.

Marius stood almost expressionless at the question, but he pulled together an answer. We were together at first. Then there was an bombardment, and there was a lot of dust in the air. I tried calling out her name, but it led to the other wolves chasing me. I tried to fend them off, but there were way too many. A frown wilted his handsome features and Eponine padded closer trying to offer a bit off solace. I know there’s a small chance of her survival, but hopefully she made it out of there and safe. The chocolate, crème mistress let her crown push gently into Marius’ side, her soft lyrical offering some comfort, that for once might have been real. Because for as much as Eponine held against Cosette, she knew that Cosette made Marius happy. Maybe one day Marius. With you by her side, Cosette was bound to have luck on her side.

The crème thieve pulled her delicate crown away from the soft hues of chocolate. She sighed quietly, her breath catching slightly in her throat, Why can’t I have you, Marius..? She pondered, aimlessly. She already knew why, but Eponine couldn’t just push away the blossomed love she had for Marius. That would never be possible…A gentle silence had fallen over the pair as they sat contemplating their separate thoughts. Her mocha brows creased together as she tried to pull herself together, Do you think we could make a new home in this land Marius? Do you think we could find a stable pack and live the rest of our lives in peace? Eponine stared out over the cliffs edge, her melted pools, gathered tears. None of them spilled out as she blinked them away. For as much as emotion she had bottled away, Eponine would never let it control her. Sometimes she wondered if that’s why Marius never truly saw how much she loved him… She pushed away the excess thoughts, leaving her auds open the soft, comforting baritones of Marius.
