Connecticut gets revenge in trip up to Matt's court

The Connecticut guys got revenge this past weekend, winning most of the championship games in action played over a 6-hour period Saturday afternoon. Several players from CT were dominating on their court providing near pro-like jai-alai action for hours.

An additional performance was held Friday night, with a couple dozen players in an action-packed 14-game program that lasted 4 1/2 hours. This was the regular Spectacular 9 event that is held at Matt's bi-monthly.. That event mixed players from both courts and in team action, similar to games held in St. Pete the weekend before.

As soon as I get the scores, I will post a full story with lots of great photos.

On Thursday, the Florida Seven went to Jai-alai Heaven for some Tedrick ball action. Rocco put on an amazing performance in front of about 20 people. The fine gentlemen (Peter, Al and others) up there then treated the gang to some great pizza in Hartford.

After that, the group headed to the hotel and then to Matt's for two hours of practice action. The court is a huge difference in size as compared to St. Pete, which resulted in home wins in both states in the Home and Home series.

The event went real well and everybody was in agreement this needs to be done more often.
