Indeed she deserved a moment of peace and quiet. She had done well with her pack and she was quite glad with how they were all coming along. As she laid down she noticed a sudden drop in temperature. Puzzled her ebony crown lifted upwards from her paws and she noticed how a dark plume of clouds began to roll on through. It was not surprising that there would be a summer storm tonight. What was surprising though was the familiar sound of the former failed Queen calling out her battle cry. Tick Tock had been waiting quite eagerly for the one-eyed she-wolf to show herself along her borders. Tobias had fought and won valiantly in her place when she delivered him their children that stormy Spring night. Tick Tock was not as cruel as Jaidah to issue such a challenge on such a special occasion. In fact she waited patiently to see if Jaidah would emerge from where ever she was within the fields, after the birth of her litter, and when she never showed herself for quite a while Tick Tock made her move. Though tonight she would have to make her move once more. It seemed only fitting that in order to truly celebrate her first full year of being an Alpha that she should engage herself with a battle anniversary – what a thoughtful gift.
Bringing herself to her dark paws she began to stretch her form getting ready to propel herself towards the part of her land that bordered the woodlands. However, she would not reach Jaidah and on the grounds of battle just yet. Dark sapphire eyes noticed an unfamiliar silver blue-grey figure tearing through her fields. Not sure if this wolf was an accomplice of Jaidah or not Tick Tock would not take the chance. With a savage snarl she launched herself to run down the grassy knoll, running at angle with the unknown wolf. Tick Tock had every intention to protect her pack and if she needed to thwart any threat before she fought Jaidah then so be it. As the cool stormy winds ripped through her ebony and grey thick fur, her eyes remained focused on their new target as her blood continued to boil. Picking up her speed she ran as fast as her limbs would allow her, ignoring how the tall grass within the field would slap against her face and frame, not bothered with it at all. Dark ears were pricked forward as she steered her form around, charging at the she-wolf now and only stopping until she suddenly appeared right in front of the unknown wolf, blocking her entirely from going forward.
Obsidian thick fur began to lift and raise up from her lithe and sleek figure as her head began to rise in a dominate nature. Radars began to tuck themselves tightly against her crown as her banner began to lift high behind her, carrying herself fully erect as her positioned entitled her. Dark sapphire eyes glared at the wolf as traces of golden shards of lightning seemed to reflect within her merciless pools of blue and specks of violet. Black lips pulled back to reveal her sharp ivories at the girl, as a menacing snarl was the only verbal warning the girl would receive. Surely by now this wolf would catch the scent, her scent was littered everywhere, and any wolf with any form of instinct would understand by scent alone that this was her land, and she would not tolerate anyone trespassing. Jaidah would have to wait for a moment as Tick Tock would take this time to find out if this unknown wolf was one of Jaidah, if this unknown wolf was truly daft into thinking she could trespass, and Tick Tock would issue a severe type of punishment she felt the other deserved. It would be best not to test the Monster before she defended the pack she would always protect.
