News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Kalseru
yes. all men must die, but we are not men

Atop a mountain whose spires clawed at the sky itself slumbered a beautiful princess, her platinum form perched on a rock outside the den she had come to share with her three brothers. After their mother had found a mate in Uncle Jericho and borne them sisters last spring they had known it was time to give them some space, but they couldn’t bear to be parted from one another, and so they had found their own den in which they still piled together every night like newborns. Where else would Kalseru have found such a comfy pile of brothers to sleep on? A soft smile graced her delicate features as she shifted, long, dark limbs stretched forward upon which rested her regally masked head. Sunbathing was about the only way the residents of Spirane could gain any form of warmth during the months that winter clutched the mountains in it’s icy grip, and it was a rare day when there were no snow clouds blocking it entirely from view.

Today was one of those days and she aimed to take full advantage of it, she thought as she rotated her slender hips, settling into her nap even more. That is until her three raucous brothers came tumbling out of their den, late risers as always, making enough ruckus to raise the dead not to mention cause her to crack open one mahogany eye. Drogon had let out a growl of annoyance which is what sent them all scampering from the den, no doubt someone had stepped on his face…again, Viserion was trying to reason with him, which was about as useless as trying to turn a waterfall around, and Rhaegal was simply laughing. No doubt he had been the one to cause the trouble, she thought with a shake of her head so that the sunlight caught the silvery strands which peppered her crown. Perhaps four near adult wolves sharing a den was a bad idea, but she couldn’t bring herself to leave them just yet. Not when the so obviously needed her. Her thoughts were still rather fond of her siblings, despite them having ruined her nap, until, that is, Rhaegal stepped directly on her tail by what might have been an accident.

Accident or not a snarl to match her largest brother tore from her curled lips and she stood instantly, pulling her tail free and turning to lick at the ruffled fur that she had worked meticulously on to make sure it was laying flat. Winter always worked wonders on the girl, her coat lengthening so it lay in gorgeous waves and her tail so long it drug the ground behind her. After a few furious licks and prods, when she had her tail set in order again, she turned to simply glare at her brothers with moon-rimmed eyes, all of whom had gone strangely quiet. With little more than a ‘hrmph’ she turned her back to them and trotted gracefully down the mountainside, muttering something about obnoxious boys to anyone who might be near enough.

She had quite enough of boys and their growing levels of testosterone which is exactly what led her back to her mother’s den, where her three younger sisters now lived. When the news that her mother had birthed three new princesses Kalseru had been… less than thrilled. Up until then she had been Daenerys’ only daughter now these three had come to replace her! The fear and confusion she felt soon faded as she spent more time with them, finding that having siblings who weren’t boys was actually rather enjoyable. It was high time, as they were about to turn one, that she take them for a girls day out. She pauses outside the mouth of her mother’s den, not wanting to intrude and calls out silkily, “Nymeria. Sansa. Visenya.” before lowering her form gracefully to the ground, paws crossing before her, and waiting.
