Pretty soon she’ll have been everywhere.
That’s her current goal before she decides whether her stay here will be permanent. So far all the areas she has found are pleasant. This one has an appeal of its own, though she tends to prefer treed areas. For now, she sits perched on a large rock, surveying the terrain. It could be called a boulder, really. It had taken quite some work to get up here and unless anyone looked straight up, she was nigh on invisible. Lazily a hind leg comes up to scratch at one russet ear. From here she can just make out a stream coming from the lake she had found herself at earlier. The lake that had betrayed her trust by cracking the ice under her feet. She had made a royal fool of herself in her crazed attempt to get off the ice. All the while it had simply been settling. An irritated huff left her lips. It still stung her pride some, especially that she had been seen.
Sounds from below her lofty perch bring her attention back. Another wolf is making its way around her boulder. Curious, she peeks her cream and red head over the side to try and get a better look at it. Him. His colouration is much more interesting than her own average shades. Trying to determine just how far the yellow colouration extends on his back, her paw slips.
A yelp and the sound of gravel shifting is all the warning the boy gets before she falls off the rock, heading straight for him.
Of course.
Dazed from the fall, she is unable to tell whether she had actually fallen on him or whether her yip had given him enough warning to get out of the way. Either way, she is in no condition to get up at that moment, having had the wind knocked out of her from whatever it was she had fallen on. Finally, as her gasps for air become effectual, she manages to gasp out a single word.
“Oops.”
Greeeeaaat.
cause i can't ignore it
