 I had confused him perhaps, with my hesitation, his youthful features seeming to fall into a look of nervous apprehension at the muttered words I offered though I had hardly intended it. I forget, it would seem, how impressionable the young are given to be and how desiring of praise and rightness from those they look to- as I suppose the young one does to me his new….mentor.
