Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

LIKE A WALK IN THE PARK, LIKE A HOLE IN YOUR HEAD
Like her brother- who, unbeknownst to her, she was quickly approaching- Ehiyeh had gone off on her own after the disappearance of their mother. Although she had stuck close to the side of Achlys for the first few months of her life, it had not bothered the antisocial girl too much when she had disappeared. She had simply left the den she had been birthed in behind, bonds had always been hard to form for her. And so she had little to do with the world outside of herself and her den and the things which she kept inside. Larger animals were still too hard for her to catch, but there were bones and rabbit's feet and even some whole carcasses. Trophies.

Ehiyeh lamented leaving it behind, her little cove of solitude tucked away down by the shore, but there were things to do outside of that, an unfortunate circumstance. If she could live alone with only herself she could very well see that as a better life than being forced to go outside and interact with others. Even her family could be a trial to see sometimes, but at least they had all gone off and done mostly their own thing after Mother had gone. It made things... easier.

The sound of a familiar voice, however, reached her ears, quickly followed by another, and they folded back against her head. It was likely that she would have been spotted and so she figured that it was necessary she at least say hello. As much as the concept tired her. Conversation was tiring, why couldn't anyway else see that? Ehiyeh would rather be surrounded by her trophies and talk to them instead. They were all such good listeners.

Lightly she padded towards the pair, her body holding a feminine grace despite the fact that she was young. Violet eyes glanced sharply between the older male and her brother. "I will share, if that's alright with your friend." Ehiyeh said to her brother in light tones, singsong and almost sanguine. She sat next to Erebos, tail curling around her paws. "My name is Ehiyeh." This was trying already.
