She was happy to give him any sort of peace he needed. After all being shaman was meant to not only help with physical wounds but spiritual ones as well. While many healed with time sometimes others needed to hear or see something to make their lives complete. Iblis and Rhae had been great fighters and great leaders of Asteraia. Zeltzin still argued they had the best reign with the most happy wolves and peace. However that all ended and now Asteraia was cloaked in a shadow she was never sure would be lifted from it. For now though she had to focus on his goals and future and do what she could to help him succeed. If it started with him learning healing she would do it.

She wanted to review what Blackfoot had started with, but she also wanted to know why to see how in-depth she needed to go. If he was to be a fighter then all he would need to know is how to quell pain and bandage some major to minor wounds. Perhaps some herbs to relax the nerves too. Once he said what he was doing Zeltzin honestly didn’t think a thing of it. Elite guard to her sounded like a warrior position, what they did and everything else that sort of seemed interesting, but again Zeltzin didn’t mind. They were allies after all and even if he was of an enemy pack Zeltzin would want to help him out if she could. ”That is a tall order for an alphess to ask of such a young wolf. But I will do my best to help. You learn even more then.” She says smiling at the boy was they continued on their way.

Once they arrived she placed herself down watching as her Brother-in-law sniffed the burdock plant and nodding when he gave its purpose. ”Yes that’s a use for it, though not usually my first choice.” She said smiling at him as he looked over the moss. ”Any wounds it can be used on it’s also good to simply place over them to protect them as well. You can also use clean webs or if you have a lot of time fluffy parts of cattails too. But I prefer moss to them all, it’s readily available in almost all lands but Diveen and Asteraia.” She explained with a few short nods.

”Since it sounds like you are going to be more of a fighter role I will teach you more about things to clean wounds with and relieve pain. So this is probably the most popular and favorite. This is Aloe.” She directed him to a spiky plant that was slender and grass shaped but thick. ”Inside of it there a salve that you can put over wounds that help relieve pain and even cleans them.” She motioned to him to grab it and split it open. ”It works on wounds, big or small. Then if you place a leaf over the wound it will stick so the wound will be covered.” She said nodding. It was a very distinct plant hard to miss or confuse with anything.

Then there were internal pain relievers. Two different types depending on severity. ”Next I want to show and tell you something very important. Their affect varies but what they do is the same. First is this… you probably been given it before a poppy seed. It’s the most potent pain reliever… but it also can be addictive, so it’s best to avoid it unless the pain is really sever and even then monitored. It can also be a really good sedative too… You understand.” She said it was quite serious really, not many fell to the pressures but it wasn’t impossible. This is the safer, but less potent alternative, is the roots of valerian. It’s not as strong as poppy but is still a sedative and can help someone go to sleep too as well as relieve their pain. And its not addictive. What I like best is their flowers are in white balls so it makes it easy to find and their flowers have a very unique scent.” She says stepping away and offering him a smell of the dry flowers.
