Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

The girl continues to eye me and though I highly disapprove of such behavior, it doesn't seem to get the desired results when I scold her. Perhaps no one has ever taught her how to treat royalty? I cannot blame the poor dear for the neglect of whoever raised her. She's already told me that she doesn't have parents which is a horrible thing in itself. This Big Wolf must be an outcast as well and has taught her his way. This will not do, but I'll have be cunning in how I teach her. She is smart and I'll just have to be smarter.

I note the way she looks away while I talk as if I have nothing important to say. Usually I would be throwing a royal tantrum by now, stomping my paw and yelling at the top of my lungs to get her to listen but I've already learned this girl doesn't react properly to that so I'll have to figure out another way. When she bares her teeth, my ears flatten to my skull, my lips wrinkling right back at her but then she speaks and I smooth my face back over, making my features impassive as royalty should be once more. I listen as she speaks of this Big Wolf and I do feel sympathy for her situation. So a male wolf takes care of her but is not her father. Surely he should be a good wolf to do such a thing so why has he not taught the girl how to talk to others?

I can tell she's hesitant when I offer to help her find something for him. She must not trust me. What's not to trust? She glances back at the carcass and I can tell she's thinking about it at least. Surely I can pick out something better than that. When she whimpers, I scowl. At her words, I smirk and shake my head. "No, no, a pinecone just won't do. We have to find something amazing, something that sends a message. My mother always says that its the thought that counts. Is there anything he's fond of? Anything that's important to him? What do you think of when you think of what he means to you? Anything that will send a message?" This is good advice, yes?
