Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The smoky grey brute eyed the newcomer suspiciously, the stench of Abendrot on his pelt. Why would one from his enemy pack come to his pack and offer help? But right now there was an emergency in the pack, one that he knew he could not tackle on his own. And though he did not trust Aimery as of yet, he would accept his help. Summer was no fool though, and he stayed weary of the snow white brute that claimed to be mates with one of his own Bright Moon packmates. The alpha allowed this newcomer to stay for now, knowing that Aimery was not his problem at the moment. His attention shifted to the approach of another male, Danger. Summer had not seen him around lately, and he was glad to see that one current Bright Moon member was joining him in what would no doubt be a dangerous task. He worried for a moment about the dark brute’s disability, but the male was able to take care of himself so surely he would be okay. Summer just didn’t want anything bad to happen to any of his packmates.

A brief smile appeared on Summer’s features as Danger approached, announcing his presence before sniffing over the stranger’s form. “And, ah, welcome to Bright Moon stranger. If you can help us out, we’ll be cool.” The alpha nodded to Aimery once more before addressing Danger. ”Thank you for coming Danger. It is good to see you, but I wish it were on better terms. We have a dangerous trespasser in our lands, and I will know it is asking a lot, but I need your help, both of your help, in defending our home.” Before Summer could try to make a game plan with them, a loud crashing sounded through the trees. He knew it had been risky to call so loudly for his pack, but it was a risk he had been forced to take, and it seemed to have made a bad situation worse. His form stiffened and a growl rose from his throat. The fight was coming to them.

The large form of the bear came crashing through the trees, rearing on its hind limbs to make its form larger and more intimidating. A large and powerful paw swept at Aimery dangerously, but luckily Danger reacted quickly and clamped down on the bear’s paw, throwing off its aim. A yelp escaped from the white male as crimson blood dotted his brow from where the claws did make their mark though. Suddenly Danger’s form was thrown to the side, hitting a tree with a sharp bang. Summer winced in sympathy, getting ready to attack in hopes of stopping the bear and keeping his packmates safe. As the bear goes back down to four limbs, he sees his chance and lunges forward, a snarl escaping him. But somehow the bear anticipated his attack and pivoted before Summer could change course. The smoky grey brute’s body was forced against a tree under the much stronger form of the bear’s paw. He tried to kick out with his hind limbs, hoping to make any contact to loosen the attacker’s grip and wiggle free, squirming his body as much as he could, jaws snapping in anger of the opponent he could not reach.

Before Aimery could even begin an attack, the bear had rushed at him. The younger male had had no experience with fights like this before and he froze in panic. If it had not been for Danger, he would have died on the spot. But he got lucky and only got a superficial head wound, though it immediately began bleeding and blurring his vision. Danger’s attack did not last long as he was flung to side just before the bear turned on Summer. Aimery’s green orbs watched in horror as the alpha was pinned against a tree. He knew if he did not act that Summer would not survive. Instinct finally kicked in and Aimery’s form leapt forward, barking loudly to try and get the bear’s attention away from the other male. He no longer cared that he was endangering his own life, he just knew he needed to defend the vargs that had protected him. He leapt through the air, trying to latch onto the bear to cause him enough pain and distraction to make him let go of Summer, aiming for the bear’s paw that was not pinning the alpha against a tree, hoping to get his fangs deep into the flesh of the larger predator’s forearm.
