It had been an interesting decision to depart from the shores and yet, it had been entirely exciting and surely an important one to make. Her mother and sister had become but mere shadows to her, remnants of some distance event and so, she had not considered them when she had made her choice. Rather, she had considered the future and the multiple paths that spanned out before her. Those paths, of course, did not always lead to Glorall - or from, in that case. Besides, she had nearly reached her second year and so, the fact that she had not begun to strive towards her own future had begun to itch at her like an unreachable tic. Even her half siblings had not garnered enough interest to keep her restrained, though she had been sure to remind Elohim that she certainly intended to return; uninvited or invited, it seldom mattered. She had fostered a decent relationship with her alleged father, though it had fast become more self serving than she had initially expected. Of course, he likely said and did what he did with purpose; a mutual act of using one another, she supposed. With purpose, she had begun towards the north. She had been born in such a place and even as she aged, she still remembered many of the major paths that lead through the free lands to the plains of Asteraia. She decided to take them idly, enjoying the snow and the chill as she spent her day exploring the boundaries between the fields and the forests. The snow had been light, the end of winter fast approaching, and so, she had spent much time in it, arriving towards the borders as the sun begun to enter its lower quadrant. She had a hop in her step, a certain joy as she moved to the southern borders; her lips had been turned up in a small, subtle grin since her arrival. She paused a safe distance from the marked boundaries, aware that she had the inability to trespass now; the pack had grown in strength, the queen's rule seemingly solidified despite the challengers that had come seeking the flats. Strange, she had to admit, that her mother had abandoned the place, though she supposed her mother had no idea that this leader would prove to be worth sticking around for. It didn't matter, though. With a final hop, she came to a stop, her pale form swaying in the breeze and snow as she lifted her muzzle to call out for a wolf of Asteraia; she had not directly summoned the alpha but rather, anybody with a position of power. She had something of interest, some curious information, and so, it would not matter how it got to their leader, only that it did.
