Nicci bowed her head and backed away settling down not far from the little trio of wolves. The Beta had turned back to another wolf she had seemingly missed, they had unfinished business and Nicci turned her ear and tuned into herself, not wanting to pry. She would have stayed in her own thoughts but the sudden clap of thunder rocked her to her core. Nicci’s fur stood on edge and she herself was crouched down in fear and as a protective measure. Her sea green pools looked around for the source of commotion and she was frozen to the ground at the sight of fiery blood oozing down the mountain side. The mountain… It… Erupted! Kahlan was just as scared and shocked as the wolves around her. Nicci watched her back away slightly like she was trying make sure this was real, but a sudden calmness came over her. She addressed the three wolves of Saw Tooth and the other Pack wolves that wandered in, It seems that Saw Tooth... Is no longer a safe haven. We must all flee should we wish to keep our lives. Under Moth's reign, we had an alliance with Aurora Borealis, might we find shelter with you? Kahlan had turned her gaze upon the wolfess who’s pelt was mixes of neutral colors. The opposing pack wolf nodded kindly.

Nicci rose up on shaky limbs, how was that the first pack she had encountered was already undergoing a natural disaster..? She just couldn’t pick a home could she… She felt Kahlan’s presence pushing from behind, ushering all the of wolves from area as they broke away and headed towards their shelter and asylum in Aurora Borealis. Nicci’s already weary limbs were struck with sudden energy as she fled with her new and former pack (somehow all at once she gained and lost all hope…)

For it is here that we shall rest, and then decide that fate of our pack, whether we choose a new pack together, or disperse among our allies. Kahlan’s voice did nothing to hide the immense pain she was feeling, but from what Nicci had seen the Beta wouldn’t give up easily. She had taken them to safety and with her being a newer addition to only two wolves, including Kahlan, Nicci knew she had found a wolf she could be loyal to. Nicci stepped up, her cranium dipped low, I hope I can be considered one of you now. She whispered quietly, it was directed at either of the other Saw Tooth wolves, if they heard her.
