Thankfully the winter season would soon come to a closed and once more the rolling hills of the golden fields would spring into life once more. The weak would not make it through Winter’s icy grip, and only the strong would prevail and deserve to feel the warmth of the sun in Spring. All within her pack would make it to Spring, even their oldest member -Eric- would make it out too. She wondered though, when his time came, just what exactly would his children do? She hardly saw the two girls anywhere, surprised they haven’t been eaten yet, and she was used to seeing his son Cuirass all the time. He was becoming a fine warrior and she would like to express her thoughts upon his son with his Father before Death came for him. Now, however, was not the time to think of Death. Within the dark corners of her mind Tick Tock was thinking about other things, the list of things she needed to accomplish before next Winter. Already she included the little nuisances that would come along, but she hardly gave them a thought, because they weren’t anything to fret over. Things would go well for her and Tobias, as they always have, and she doubted very much that anything would change that. Though there would be some changes, and these changes were not a bad thing. She was interested in the brown and cream she-wolf that spoke of marigolds, and now that Tick Tock back to feeling normal, she felt motivated to come find this unique wolf.
The Monster moves without stiffness through the white and thick snow, already feeling the grip of Winter softening. It wouldn’t be long before all the white stuff melted away and the thick green grass below would soon rise up. Her Frankenstein had done what was necessarily to keep her healthy after the attack. While speaking to the bob-tailed wolf she confirmed that the mysterious she-wolf’s comment about marigolds was true. In Tick Tock’s mind she assumed that having more than one healer was a good thing, especially if something ever happened to multiple members of her pack, and her Frankenstein could not get to them all. It also didn’t hurt for a wolf to work together with someone that had similar knowledge with the other. Pointing her nose downwards to catch that odd scent she followed it towards a den that was farther away then most. The scent was strong around the den and confirmed to the Monster that she had found just the very wolf she was looking for. Sitting herself down a few feet away the opening of the den, wanting to keep the younger wolf at ease, her dark ears were pointed forward with interest. Her maw would drop and her cold voice would slither out easily to the girl, enticing her to come out.
“Your advice about the marigolds helped.”
