Taika listened to the words Zeltzin spoke, her ears trained on her while she picked up the subtle tones of her voice as well. There was a deep seated sadness that seemed to linger with the woman on this topic. There more than a touch of loss and broken hope. Hidden under these notes were sounds of conviction and shifting dreams. Life experience had led this woman to know what heartache was, and being to heal and shift from it. As Taika listened to and studied this woman’s tale, she thought vaguely about what her own life would bring. In her youth she had an understanding that she still had a lot of life to live. There were many years still ahead of her and much that fate would have in store. She knew life’s current status was temporary. Everything changed, it was the one thing that was sure. Admiration for the female before her grew in the young woman’s heart. Zeltzin clearly felt loss, but remained strong through it. It was something Taika hoped she would be able to do in her life as well. It was something she had done poorly so far.
”Perhaps, instead of getting another body to warm lonely nights, we should be looking for something else to keep away the cold?” She said softly. Her voice did not hold so much conviction though. If there was one thing Taika did not like, it was being physically cold while sleeping.
Smiling at Zeltzin, her tail swayed in friendship. “I know most of the gypsies mean no harm to those we visit. We like to get to know others, tell stories, and play. If someone does bring trouble, we don’t stand by them when rightful justice comes down.” She grinned and yipped once. “But I thank you for your offer. I can promise you I will come visit you, and your lovely family, sometime soon. It has been a pleasure meeting you, Zeltzin.
