Hey, beauty supreme
Yeah, you were right about me
But can I get myself out from underneath
This guilt that will crush me?
The white frill that fell around her shoulders like a cape without the train, her shoulders square with the other intruders. Her body shifts only to meet Bellatrix head on. Caligula had never been afraid of another wolf, and in all her travels she had met scarier wolves. Even moreso than Tobias or Abraxus or Jaidah. Caligula was a monster in her own right, a murderer of her half siblings, a lover to her brother, an anomality in the land of status quo. And now the monster had returned to make her presence known. She had no qualms with this other wolf but also would not hesitate to lay tooth and nail into that dark flesh. The singular word that the other spoke with such viciousness that Caligula's lips curl up revealing the pink of her gums and the yellow of her teeth. A silent growl given to Bellatrix. A warning. Her tail involuntarily rises high above her haunches. Her ears were forward and her head just slightly lowers to protect her neck. It was clear that the mute had no intentions of leaving without a fight.
It was then that another wolf came into the scene, similar to the way Caligula had passed the borders and made her way here. Caligula thought for a moment that she had been ambushed and that she would perhaps have to back down but the voice that rings out was familiar. It was none other than Cersei. One of her eldest children, Cersei had always been closer to Tesseract than herself, a fact that she always had wanted to amend but did not know how. She inhales the scent of her daughter to reassure herself that it was indeed her. She listens and knows to play along with such a story, and thus her lips fall back to cover her canines, and she brings her tail to just slightly above her hips. It was the fur that was the hardest to relax and smooth out. Her white frill against the black of her base stood out bright with her in her winter coat. Her mind berated herself for still being on edge, it was something that needed calm but Caligula could not help but to now want to protect her daughter from this other female.
She forces herself to take a step back from Cersei, to show that the aggression was misplaced and she indeed was allowing Cersei to lead. There was even a stiff wag to her tail in an effort to calm the fears of the other while her own anger and annoyance bubbled beneath her pelt. Still, the joyful embrace of her child would have to wait until this other either left or accepted the story.
