According to an elderly cousin who has passed, "The youngest daughter of our Revolutionary grandfather John Dodd was Nancy. She married Pressley Ballenger. she died in 1831 and is buried by her husband and mother Elizabeth (Betsy) Scales Dodd on the Dodd-Caldwell plantation near Spartanburg in a little cemetery enclosed by wrought iron." This same cousin found Dodd blood cousins in Atlanta who were African Americans, but unfortunately I do not have that information. Good luck!!
