I feel almost insulted at this point, like I'm being reduced to errand boy status at just a whisk of his tail. Any other day, we would at least pretend to be cousins who just argue a lot and probably seem to dislike each other. But at least we know where we stand authority wise. But today I am suddenly omega and someone else is summoning me. I don't know how much more of that I can stand. I take my sweet time venturing into Asteraia, just out of spite if anything else. He dares to summon to me so I dare to arrive at my own leisure.
I know to look for him in a high place, probably a rock or something to perch on. He should know from last encounter that he's going to end up sharing the rock with yours truly. He may be able to call for me but I still belong someone high up. Just ask Heyel. My fur is a muddy brown today as I move into the prairie. None would know me by look or smell. I keep my eyes downcast even if no one is looking, only letting those of our secret group see the beautiful misture of violet, blue, and gold. After all, it would be a dead give away.
I've been keeping track of everyone's movements as best as I can. Hyrule is always a scattered pellet, zipping and zagging every which way. He always smells of ten different places. Calliel has been hard at work trying to track down Paravana. I will show my appreciation soon enough. Guardian as always is either with his mate or whatever he calls Aviias these days or at my side. He is never far. I haven't seen much of Orifel since the pack hunt and I worry for his injuries, hoping they've at least mostly healed by now. I've been coming up with ideas for the pack, one already stated but I have more coming. I just need to work it all out in my mind yet. I won't let Diveen fall to ashes and I won't let it be a pack easily forgotten in anyone's mind.
Zeus is almost ours but I still want other activities in the works. It's not enough that we will show the world what becomes of our enemies. The assassins of Diveen will be feared one way or another. When I see the lanky form of Majora, I nod my head to him and don't even hesitate to jump up on the rock, using my superior weight and overall bulk to shift him over just enough so that I can take a seat beside him. Dust wrinkles my nose as our coats brush and I sneeze, bringing up my fore leg to wipe at my face before I turn to him. "Oh hello, Majora. I trust you didn't have to wait long?" I say off hand, my eyes glowing with amusement since I know well what he meant by his sarcastic greeting.
He says we need to make reports and that he'll start. I roll my eyes and sigh but turn my head to him, giving him my full attention. His first comment about our informant though makes me laugh. "Really? HE was your informant? I would have never guessed." I listen as he says he has an informant for Glorall and Taviora. When he asks who wants to go to Spirane, I shrug. "I guess I can. Might as well see who I can wrangle up. Perhaps someone who doesn't remind me too much of their infamous murdering relative?" I raise a brow knowingly at Majora, letting him know that Lonhro does indeed look a lot like Tobias and speaks like him too, if only with a little more vocabulary. Maybe he knows like 3 more words than his dad.
He starts asking questions and since I have answers, I decide to speak up. "Zeus has been weakened but I had to send Amir back for healing for his injuries. I will go after Zeus since he seems to be on the run. We will have him in our grasp by the end of the week. I'm working on Everlast, trying to show her its safe in Diveen so I can talk her into staying. I'm also talking to lone wolves around the lake. I'm doing more than my share around the usual duties of a wolf in my position." I give him a look on the last sentence in case he thinks he has to say something smart back. There, that should show him that I'm much more than a pretty face. Prettier than his if I do say so myself.
